Sticky Fingers Cooking Houston West is seeking a part-time Chef Instructor to teach hands-on cooking classes for kids. Classes are typically 2–5 PM on weekdays, on campus, with setup time included in the pay. The role emphasizes fun, safety, and engaging instruction across ages 3–18.

Ideal candidates arrive early, manage groups, and commit to 4–12 week sessions. ServSafe certification is preferred, and transportation to campuses is required. No professional cooking experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Available to teach 1 hour classes (on campus approx. 90 mins) at least 2 days a week between 2-5 PM, Mon–Fri.
• Punctual, reliable and comfortable managing groups of 8-14 kids.
• Must arrive on campus 15-30 minutes prior to scheduled class time.
• Able to commit to teaching sessions that run 4-12 weeks.
• Have or willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass state and FBI background checks as a condition of employment.
• No professional cooking experience required.
• Experience working with kids is a plus.
