Job summary

Sticky Fingers Cooking Houston West is seeking a part-time Chef Instructor to bring hands-on cooking experiences to kids after school. The role offers a flexible schedule, typically 2–5 PM on weekdays, and pays $55 for a 1-hour class plus 30 minutes for setup and cleanup, with food reimbursement on campus.

You''ll lead engaging cooking sessions for kids ages 3–18, use our curricula, and create a fun, safe learning environment while building confidence and culinary curiosity.

Qualifications

• Punctual, reliable and comfortable managing groups of 8–14 kids.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Must pass state and FBI background checks as a condition of employment.
• No professional cooking experience required; experience with kids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on cooking classes for groups of 8–14 kids.
• Follow provided curricula and prepare ingredients for classes.
• Shop for fresh ingredients and set up a safe, engaging kitchen environment.
• Inspire and encourage kids to explore cooking and build confidence.
