Job summary

Providence is seeking a part-time Chaplain to provide spiritual care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The role requires 28 hours per week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and alternating weeks on another weekday.

You will assess, plan, and document care, support mission and values, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Requires Master’s in Theology and four ACPE units, plus National Chaplain Certification within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or equivalent.
• Four Clinical Pastoral Education units, ACPE accredited or equivalent options.
• National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional spiritual care and resources to patients, families, and staff.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document spiritual care using EMR.
• Work as part of the healthcare team to support mission and values of Providence.
• Deliver services in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Education

Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies

Four Clinical Pastoral Education units (ACPE or equivalent)

National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire
