Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Teaching License required.
• Knowledge of current teaching standards and NC Standard Course of Study.
• Evidence of teacher effectiveness (assessment data or EVAAS data).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes student data and observations of student work to determine student needs.
• Plans daily intervention lessons based on student needs and NC Standard Course of Study.
• Delivers engaging small-group instruction for students.
• Maintains communication with the student's regular classroom teacher and parent/guardian.
• Maintains records of student progress and attendance.
• Uses effective classroom management to create a safe, positive learning environment.
