Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience scrubbing in generalized surgical procedures (GYN, General, Plastics).
• Experience scrubbing in specialty areas (ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during cases.
• Provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
