Qualifications

• Must be a certified Phlebotomist and hold a valid California Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1–2 years of directly related lab experience preferred in a large healthcare system.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scientific terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen processing, accessioning, phlebotomy, heel and finger sticks.
• Provides customer service and clerical support in the lab.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance in the work area.
• Operates instruments and performs preventive maintenance as appropriate.
• Ensures proper handling, storage and disposal of specimens.
