Job summary

Cardinal Health's cCARE Encinitas location seeks a Phlebotomist/Lab Technician to perform blood draws and data entry, supporting physicians and lab staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

Responsibilities include inventory management, processing samples after collection, and maintaining equipment, with occasional cross-location coverage within San Diego County. A high school diploma and CPT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician license or eligible for certification.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient blood draws and enter test orders accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and lab staff to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain inventory and order lab supplies.
• Process samples after collection and assist with equipment upkeep.
• Float between cCARE San Diego County locations.
