Job summary

Walt Churchill’s Market in Perrysburg, OH is hiring a Part-Time Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician. The role supports pharmacists, prepares and dispenses medications, and provides exceptional customer service while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling prescriptions, updating the system, processing insurance, stocking inventory, and ensuring accurate, efficient workflow in a busy community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration as required by state law.
• Immunization certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and handle inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
• Assist with prescription pickup/drop-off and verify information.
• Enter and update prescription data in pharmacy system.
• Prepare, label, and package medications under supervision.
• Identify potential drug interactions and alert the pharmacist.
• Assist with insurance claims and billing issues.
• Receive, stock, and manage inventory of meds and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the pharmacy area.
• Support the pharmacist to ensure accurate and efficient dispensing.
