Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) in Brockton, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for a part-time 32-hour schedule. The role supports medication handling, compounding, inventory, and distribution under supervision of pharmacists and leadership.

Responsibilities include hazardous compounding, sterility testing, KPI monitoring, and contributing to training materials. Current CPhT certification and MA license are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs hazardous compounding
• Performs batch sterility tests
• Monitors at least one Key Performance Indicator or produces at least one Key Process Improvement
• Assists in revising training materials
• Demonstrates intermediate skill performance by performing at least one of the following: intermediate purchasing skills, decentralized pharmacy services, medication histories, or ADC optimization
• Complies with HIPAA policies
• Performs excellent recordkeeping, accuracy, and handoffs when dealing with Controlled Substances, and immediately reports any concerns/discrepancies to pharmacist or supervisor
