Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt service and assistance.
• Help pharmacists prepare prescriptions by counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions.
• Ensure customers receive all their prescriptions.
• File written prescription forms after prescriptions are dispensed.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms if needed.
• Maintain organized filing system for invoices, reports, and claims.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Assist customers in locating over-the-counter items.
• Coordinate scheduling of technicians and fixed activities.
• Adhere to state and federal laws and regulations; maintain safety and inventory control.
• Restock supplies; maintain department cleanliness and appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
