Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with background check and drug testing as required.
• Current PTCB certification and state license as required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong data entry and basic math skills.
• Effective time management and sense of urgency.
• Open schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Desire and ability to train other department associates in all areas pertaining to department operation.
• Pass an EPS competency evaluation and unsupervised qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Assist pharmacists by counting, labeling, and pricing prescriptions.
• Ensure customers receive all their prescriptions.
• File written prescription forms after prescriptions are dispensed.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms if needed.
• Maintain organized filing system for invoices and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Help customers find over-the-counter items.
• Coordinate scheduling of technicians and activities.
• Adhere to state and federal laws and regulations.
