Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent. Successful background check and drug testing.
• Maintain current PTCB certification and state license as required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong data entry and basic mathematic skills.
• Effective time management skills and sense of urgency.
• Desire and ability to learn all aspects of pharmacy operations including management, scheduling, and delegated duties.
• Open schedule availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Pass an EPS competency evaluation and 'unsupervised' qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Help pharmacists prepare prescriptions by counting, labeling, and pricing.
• Ensure customers receive all their prescriptions.
• File written prescription forms after dispensing.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms if needed.
• Maintain organized filing system for invoices and reports.
• Adhere to state laws and Company policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in third party audits as needed.
• Restock pharmacy supplies and maintain department cleanliness.
• Observe safety standards and maintain neat appearance.
