Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to fill prescriptions, assist customers, and manage inventory at our Lavale location. You will handle telephone inquiries, verify IDs, and ensure accurate data entry and dispensing in a fast-paced environment.

Team members must be state or nationally certified and take part in required training, HIPAA compliance, and safety procedures. This role is based in-store in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet state required minimum age
• Must complete background check and drug screening
• Must read, write, and communicate for duties
• Must maintain license certification and trainings

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and dispense products.
• Assist customers and answer telephone inquiries.
• Verify customer identifications when required.
• Review schedules, prepare supplies, and ensure PPE compliance.
• Move, unpack, and shelve incoming supplies.
• Maintain stock, inspect for expiration, and audit inventories.
