Job summary

The GIANT Company in Pennsylvania is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to join our team at Plymouth Mtng. You will help fill prescriptions, assist customers, and keep shelves stocked while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily operations.

Responsibilities include data entry for prescriptions, verifying customer IDs when required, and answering phone inquiries. This role requires reliability, strong attention to detail, and adherence to health and safety standards in a fast-paced retail pharmacy

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet state required minimum age.
• Must successfully complete background check and drug screening.
• Must read, write, communicate and understand to perform duties and comply with policies.
• Must complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use the equipment required for the job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start, check equipment, and prepare supplies while complying with PPE requirements.
• Move totes, unpack incoming supplies, and place items on shelves.
• Clean shelving, check inventory levels, and inspect product expiration dates.
• Help customers and answer telephone calls.
• Verify identification of customers for restricted products when required.
• Complete the prescription filling process, including data entry and dispensing.
