Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opening at Hawthorne Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN. In-house therapists are team members providing care.

The role focuses on improving residents' quality of life, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the rehab team, with opportunities across multiple locations to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

• COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.

Responsibilities

• Help clients improve quality of life by compensating for limitations and increasing independence.
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Occupational Therapist, and educate staff and families.
• Document in rehab department records under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to meet residents' diverse needs.
