Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist residents with transfers, range of motion and mobility as needed.
• Document resident interactions, care outcomes and changes to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness programs and assist with meals, hydration and dining.
