Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing required; facility provides training.
• Annual continuing education obligations: 12 hours minimum.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and vital signs as applicable.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and adherence to infection prevention policies.
• Support housekeeping and laundry to maintain residents' living areas.
