Qualifications

• State Required HHA Certification or CNA License.
• Six months supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Must read physician orders and match to MAR.
• Must understand medical terminology to pass medications and communicate with professionals.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident service plans and pass medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Document daily task completion and observations.
• Communicate resident needs to other Medication Aides for consistency.
• Coordinate with dining staff during meals and cleanup.
• Supervise staff during shifts as assigned.
• Maintain required certifications and attend in-service trainings.
• Adhere to local/state/federal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
