Hertz is seeking a part-time Certified Automotive Technician to join our high-energy maintenance team. The role focuses on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition. You will lead with product knowledge and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience, ASE certification preferred, and own tools. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Must have tools to perform repairs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to perform repairs independently and work well in a team.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair vehicles as part of the maintenance team.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in running condition.
• Handle engine and transmission overhauls as needed.
• Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools.

The part time Certified Automotive Technician is the top of our maintenance team with a focus on diagnostic and repair. This role will work to keep all equipment in running condition through our effective preventative maintenance program, as well as taking on the responsibility of handling complex repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls. This position is a master technician and assumes a leadership role with product knowledge and a standard of quality.

• Hourly Rate is $32.00 + median incentive is approximately $360/month, varies based on job performance

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Trade School Preferred
• ASE Certified

Professional Experience:

• At minimum three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs without oversight
• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
