Select Physical Therapy in Avon, CT is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support Canton High School with 30 hours per week for the 2026/2027 school year.

You will provide athlete care at contracted schools, coordinate access to health care, and develop rehabilitation plans. This part-time role emphasizes emergency management, injury prevention, and collaboration with coaches, families, and school staff.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in athletic training or related field.
• NATA-BOC certification.
• CPR certification.
• Applicable state athletic training license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for athletes at contracted schools.
• Coordinate access to additional health care for athletes.
• Design and implement rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
• Manage emergency procedures and coordinate EMS and acute care.
• Promote outreach and participate in community events to represent the clinic.
