Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for student athletes. You will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes, supporting local schools in/around Purcellvile, VA. ATC coverage for games/practices with the local clinical team.

Minimum qualifications include a B.S. and NATA-BOC certification, CPR, and applicable state licensure. Per diem/PRN or part-time position with varying hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required.
• NATA-BOC Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease injury risk.
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record changes as indicated by athlete response.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures to reduce injury impact.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.
