Job summary

Passaic County Community College (PCCC) seeks a reliable and safety-focused part-time bus driver to support transportation across Paterson, Wanaque, Passaic campuses and off-site events. The role enhances student access and supports community engagement.

Responsibilities include operating College-owned buses, performing safety inspections, and complying with NJ MVC and DOT requirements. Must have CDL Class B with P endorsement and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CDL, Class B or higher, with Passenger (P) endorsement.
• Background check, drug screening, and DOT physical required.
• Safe driving practices and defensive driving knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate College-owned buses and shuttles to transport students, staff, and guests.
• Drive between campuses and off-site locations per schedules and special assignments.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and readiness.
• Comply with NJ MVC, DOT regulations, and College policies.
• Provide courteous customer service to the campus community.
