Job summary

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to join our team. As a cashier, you’ll provide friendly, efficient checkout service, while as a stocker you’ll keep shelves stocked and organized to ensure a great shopping experience. Both roles contribute to smooth store operations and exceptional customer service.

Starting at $20.00 per hour with planned increases in subsequent years. Positions require early morning availability and a commitment to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service at the checkout and assist customers as needed.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
• Maintain store zones and merchandising standards at all times.
• Follow inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Help ensure a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
