Job summary

ALDI is looking for enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers. As a cashier, you’ll provide friendly, efficient checkout service, while as a stocker you’ll keep shelves stocked and organized to ensure a great shopping experience.

Position Type: Part-Time • Average Hours: fewer than 30 per week • Starting wage: $19.00 per hour • Wage increases to $21.00 by Year 5. Duties cover customer service, POS operation, inventory, safety, and maintaining merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Basic retail customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and cash handling procedures.
• Good communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous checkout service to customers.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandising standards.
• Assist store management in reducing losses and ensuring safety.
• Operate cash register and handle cash policies accurately.
• Open additional lanes when needed to improve checkout efficiency.
• Prepare curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
