Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers in Bartlett, IL. You’ll provide friendly checkout service or keep shelves stocked and organized, helping create a great shopping experience.

Roles are on-site with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour and scheduled wage increases in later years. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling cash, assisting management with efficiency and safety, and maintaining merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service and operate the POS system.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assist in achieving total loss goals by following policies.
• Adhere to cash policies and follow line policy for efficient checkouts.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms.
• Arrive to work as early as 5:00am.
• Maintain store zones and merchandising standards at all times.
