Job summary

ALDI La Grange Park in Illinois is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to provide friendly checkout service and keep shelves stocked for a great shopping experience.

Position Type: Part-Time with average hours fewer than 30 per week. Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with scheduled increases through Year 2–Year 5 ($19.00, $19.50, $19.50, $20.50). Duties include customer service, inventory, safety, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate POS systems and process purchases.
• Ability to follow store policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties: operate POS, scan items, handle cash, assist customers.
• Stocker duties: stock shelves, follow merchandising plans, maintain clean and safe areas.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Adhere to safety, ergonomics, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Maintain inventory procedures and proper product handling.
