Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the cashier lane
• Perform cash register functions accurately
• Direct customers to merchandise locations or request assistance
• Answer customer questions within established guidelines
• Suggest add-on merchandise to customers
• Stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Handle returns/exchanges and process defective slips for credit
• Process and follow up on customer special orders
• Communicate out-of-stocks using hot sheet or item requests
• Ensure security measures and maintain a friendly atmosphere
