Job summary

Cub Crystal is seeking a part-time cashier to support front-end checkout procedures, maintain positive customer relations, and process orders promptly. The role requires ongoing customer interaction and delivering courteous, accurate service in a retail grocery environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, scanning products, handling tender and coupons, and maintaining front-end cleanliness. The position involves weekends and shift variations, with benefits available under union

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner
• Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender and coupons
• Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchanges
• Assist with customer questions or requests
• Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning
