Job summary

Cottage Grove Cub is seeking a part-time cashier to join our front-end team. You will help customers, scan items, process payments, and ensure accurate, courteous service while maintaining store cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling tender, returns, and exchanges, assisting with questions, and supporting front-end operations. Candidates should be reliable, able to stand for long periods, and flexible to evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Operate checkout equipment (scanner, register, coupon machine).
• Stand for long periods and perform quick cash handling.
• Provide prompt, courteous service with accurate transactions.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions and write identifying information.
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to learn and memorize procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels.
