Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Morgantown, WV is seeking a part-time Cashier to operate the POS registers and deliver excellent customer service. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and assist with product recommendations based on needs.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, staying aware of current promotions, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership and in-store pickup. This role emphasizes friendly interaction and teamwork in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to operate computerized POS register system.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.

Responsibilities

• Check out customers’ merchandise through the POS registers and provide friendly service.
• Greet and acknowledge all customers promptly and help with buying decisions.
• Stay knowledgeable about products and aware of advertised sales.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
