Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate whose primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs, exceeding expectations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping visit. You will bag groceries correctly, provide carryout and parcel pickup, load merchandise into customer vehicles, and return carts to the store.

To perform this job, you must be able to complete essential duties, participate in required training, and work with the team to increase customer

Qualifications

• Associates must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers or associates who only speak English.
• Complete company training including orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger skills, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of our customers by satisfying needs, exceeding expectations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping visit.
• Follow correct bagging procedures; provide carryout and parcel pickup service.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles and return shopping carts to the store.
