This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs, exceeding expectations, and making each shopping visit pleasant and satisfying. Responsibilities include following bagging procedures, providing carryout and parcel pickup services, loading merchandise into vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.

Personal Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to participate in and complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

Language Skills

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to English-speaking customers, clients, and associates.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to understand and carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Complete company training, including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, bagger skills, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

Must meet physical requirements to perform essential functions, including standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, and smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must regularly lift/move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and cold. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
