Assisted Self Check Out
- Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers
- Proactively engage with customers to recommend products and services
- Greet and assist customers, moving throughout the checkout area
- Ensure accurate transactions while standing, walking, reaching, and lifting
- Thank customers and invite them back
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
- Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
- Respond promptly to customer questions and assist with projects
- Communicate product and warranty information
- Train and coach team members
- Process transactions using a cash register
- Support front-end team with supervision and support
- Handle merchandise, answer calls, and manage register coverage
In-stock
- Prepare register area and verify equipment functionality
- Inspect returned merchandise
- Handle customer orders and online returns
- Verify prices and record store usage
Clean and Safe Stores
- Monitor cash and security measures
- Assist with security and theft prevention
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Operate store equipment as needed
General
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology
- 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Preferences:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles
- Experience detecting shoplifting
