Job summary

Grinnell College Dining Services is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join their team. The Cashier delivers friendly customer service, greets guests, and manages check-in and check-out at the dining hall during service hours.

Responsibilities include monitoring the dining area, assisting guests exiting the Marketplace, and presenting a positive image for the dining services. High school diploma or GED required; Food Safety certification preferred but not required.

Grinnell College Dining Services is looking for a Part-Time Cashier to join their team! The Cashier is an imperative member of the Dining team that provides exceptional customer service, coordinates the greeting, and accurately checks customers in and out. Cashiers present a positive initial image and greet all guests of dining services, monitor the dining hall during service hours, and assist guests exiting the Marketplace.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must possess excellent customer services skills and the ability to project a positive image and attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation Range: $15 - $20 per hour
