Grinnell College is seeking full-time dining services staff to support the college’s Marketplace venues and dining operations. The role involves food preparation, replenishment, cleaning, and customer-facing tasks in a fast-paced campus environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a dining or custodial setting, demonstrate reliability, and work well as part of a team. Flexible scheduling and health benefits accompany this opportunity.

Responsabilités

All hours worked past 6 p.m. on weekdays and all hours on Saturdays and Sundays earn a $2.00 per hour shift premium.

Responsibilities include replenishing, maintaining, and cleaning food venues; preparing student orders at a Marketplace venue under the direction of a culinary staff member; refilling beverage dispensers with milk or juices and/or the ice‑cream machine; assisting the dish room during busy times; cleaning all Dining Services facilities; collecting and disposing of garbage and recycling from all areas of Dining; refilling paper‑towel, sanitizer, and soap dispensers; completing other custodial jobs as directed; assisting with work in the dish room of the dining services; picking, delivering, and stocking food and supply orders for dining departments. This position has the opportunity to interact with the diverse student population of Grinnell College.
