The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, medical assistant certification is preferred, and at least 3 years in a healthcare setting with knowledge of prior authorization and case management regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience in clinic or call center settings.
• Knowledge of prior authorization and case management regulations.
• Experience in a managed health care environment preferred.
• Experience with ethnically diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather information for identified member population during assessment and care planning.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and transitions of care.
• Troubleshoot and take independent action to resolve complex issues.
