Atlanta Technical College seeks a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor – Carpentry to teach and supervise students in carpentry and construction courses at the main campus. The role supports the Carpentry Program under the program coordinator and requires delivering instruction within approved syllabi.

The position is up to 29 hours per week, with emphasis on hands-on teaching, safety, layout, and material estimation.

Qualifications

• Must have and demonstrate completion of a high school diploma or equivalent AND at least three (3) years of experience in carpentry or construction within the past seven (7) years; OR a higher credential in carpentry, construction, architecture, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Teach carpentry and general construction courses.
• Instruct and supervise students in Skills Trade, Carpentry, program and courses.
• Maintain grade books and records; submit grades per academic period.
• Follow curriculum standards and course syllabi.
• Promote and recruit for the program; participate in committees.
