A caregiving service provider is seeking a Part Time Caregiver in Estero, FL. Qualifications

• Proven 1 year of caregiving experience or equivalent training required.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals/snacks and assist with feeding.

Schedule: Two afternoons per week, 1pm-5pm, hours and days somewhat flexible.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Supporting with personal hygiene
• Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
