Job summary

The position is offered on an independent contractor basis at $15.00 hourly, with a schedule that includes weekdays from 3pm to 8pm and weekend hours. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensure safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Accompany to social events and appointments to promote community involvement.
• Complete daily progress notes and document care.

Seeking a caring and reliable caregiver for a cheerful young man who requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). He enjoys puzzles, books, air hockey, telling jokes, and socializing. The ideal candidate will encourage participation in activities, promote an active lifestyle, and provide compassionate, person-centered support.

Schedule: Mon - Fri from 3pm - 8pmand Sat and Sun 5 hours a day

• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socializationComplete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
