Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver to support a young male with I/DD in daily activities and community outings. The role is offered on an independent contractor basis, paying $16.00 per hour, with a 12-hour weekly schedule and a flexible after-3pm window; Saturdays required.

Ideal candidates are positive, patient, and compassionate, with at least 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring the individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is a young male in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene tasks, and supervision in community outings.

Schedule: 12 hours per week, flexible schedule after 3pm. Saturday required.
