Silverado Alexandria, a memory care innovator, seeks compassionate caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. You will provide daily living assistance, build relationships with residents and families, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe, respectful care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Physical ability to perform tasks (up to 50 lbs) and lift/move residents as needed.
• Comfortable around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, engaging environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range

$19 - $22 USD
