Job summary

TruCare Community, Inc. in Long Beach, CA, is hiring Overnight Caregiver/Med Tech for Villa Redondo Care.

This full-time role covers the 10pm–6:30am shift Fri–Mon to support elderly residents in an 80-bed facility. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, with a $500 sign-on bonus and benefits Qualifications include DOJ FBI live scan clearance, pre-employment physical and TB test, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance
• Pass pre-employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Progressive documentation and communication with physician and/or medical professional.
• Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence.
• Maintains good composure during emergencies and maintains a safe work environment.
• Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns
• Complete any outstanding paperwork for the day including filing, logging medication and centrally stored record
• Additional duties as assigned by Administration

Villa Redondo is an 80 bed assisted living facility for the elderly community located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregiver/Med Techs who have the passion to help the elderly and who enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required
