Job summary

White Pine Senior Living in Inver Grove Heights II is seeking a CNA/Caregiver for a part-time position. Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC, with pay around $20.00 per hour depending on qualifications and DOQ.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, taking vital signs, documenting services, and reporting changes in health or mood. High school diploma required; paid training provided. Benefits available and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report any changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
• Assist residents with personal care which may include: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, incontinence management, transferring assistance and medication administration.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
• Ability to communicate and assist residents with dementia or related diagnosis.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
