Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida INC is seeking a caregiver to support an adult male with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home setting. The role emphasizes compassion, dependability, and a positive attitude, with responsibilities including supervision, daily chores, and companionship.

This independent contractor position pays $16.00 per hour. Schedule currently Tue–Thu 4:30pm–6:30pm, with potential to expand to Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Proven caregiving experience or relevant training (1 year).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background screening.
• Age 18 or older with a HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks and daily chores.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensure safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Accompany to social events and community appointments.
• Promote communication, independence and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We are seeking a caring, patient, and dependable caregiver to provide supervision, assistance with daily chores, and companionship for an adult male. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging in activities such as games, bingo, word searches, conversation, and walks while helping create a supportive and structured environment.

Schedule: Tues - Thurs from 4:30pm - 6:30pm (eventually Mon - Fri)

• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
