Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a young male with I/DD in Cape Coral, Florida. You will help with personal hygiene, supervise during community outings, and assist with home activities, meals, and safety.

This independent contractor role pays $16.00 hourly with weekend shifts on Saturdays or Sundays, requiring at least 1 year of caregiving, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background screening.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual’s safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Accompany to social events and community outings.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is a young male in need of a caregiver to support with personal hygiene tasks, and help with supervision in community outings.

Schedule

Saturday or Sunday 9 hours, flexible schedule.
