Job summary

Senior Helpers Edmonds is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care that helps seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent. You will build meaningful relationships while delivering personal care, meal support, and companionship.

Qualified candidates will have dementia care experience and a valid driver’s license. Training is provided, with flexible scheduling and potential for additional shifts across the local area. Immediate interviews available.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia care is required.
• CNA, HCA, or equivalent caregiving certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, in-home care to help seniors stay safe and independent.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Assist with personal care tasks and mobility transfers as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor health needs.
• Support dementia-related activities and engagement.

Position Details

Location: Whidbey Island, WA and surrounding areas

Pay: $21-$24 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week for this client, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts based on availability.

What You'll Do

As a caregiver with Senior Helpers of Edmonds, you'll provide compassionate, one‑on‑one, in‑home care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience providing care for clients with dementia is required.
• CNA, HCA, Or Equivalent Caregiving Experience Preferred.
