Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors in Pierce County is seeking part-time in-home caregivers to provide companionship and personal care. Flexible hours let you choose a schedule that fits your life, from a few hours to a full week. Training may be provided to obtain Home Care Aide (HCA) credentials.

Caregivers assist with grooming, medications, meal prep, and light housekeeping to help seniors remain independent at home. Reliable transportation is helpful and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Mature individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and are personable.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and family members.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Must be able to hear and see clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Assist with grooming, medications, cooking a meal, and light housekeeping.
• Take clients to hospital visits when needed.
• Support clients to maintain independence and daily routines.

Seniors Helping Seniors has multiple positions for companions and caregivers available! Seniors Helping Seniors matches passionate companions with seniors who need help in order to remain living independently. We are currently seeking In-Home Senior mature caregivers in Pierce County.

Willingness to obtain Home Care Aid, HCA, training required. We offer flexible hours – you choose your schedule. Whether you want to work 4 hours a week or 40,

we are here to support your lifestyle by giving you an opportunity to help seniors while earning income

and maintaining your interests and hobbies.

Caregivers provide companionship as well as personal care. This may involve grooming, assisting with

medications, cooking a meal, minor housekeeping, or taking a client for hospital visits.

Pay range based on experience and active certifications

$17 - $21
