Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Howard Lake is hiring a part-time caregiver. Starting wage is $18/hour for caregivers and $20–$21/hour for CNAs, with a wage increase to $20/hour after CNA certification following five months. If you do not have your CNA, ask about our FREE CNA CLASSES.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.

The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20-$21/hour for CNAs. After 5 months of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification.
