Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a part-time caregiver in the Sartell area. Starting wage is $18/hour for caregivers and $20–$21/hour for CNAs. After 5 months, caregivers may enroll in a CNA training program and receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification.

FREE CNA classes may be available for applicants. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, meals, documentation, housekeeping, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits.
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares
• Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years
