Job summary

Comfort Keepers #581 is now hiring an in home caregiver in the Brainerd area. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, personalized care and help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Caregivers earn $18.00 per hour and then are eligible for free CNA classes in Nisswa after 5 months; if you are certified, the wage increases to $20.00 per hour.

Part-time or full-time positions are available, including every other weekend. No prior CNA required to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and auto insurance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist clients with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance
• Provide errands and transportation with own vehicle
• Assist with housekeeping tasks
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares
• Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years, personal vehicle to use during shift
• Clean driving record
